It's been really weird in the weather department lately..... The weatherman tries to get spring here, (I truly believe that) because every couple of days, the prediction is for 51 degrees, and sunshine, but the closer it gets, the lower the temperatures get again, and the snow shows back up on the map......
Normally, I'm a snow puppy, so I love looking out and seeing the white stuff, but we're working with a deadline to get the garage sorted out, and storage empty...... and I still get cold so quick, its not even funny. I will stay that way for waaay much longer than I used to, so working outside in freezing temperatures is a wonky proposition at best.....
So, I was pleasantly surprised when I found a little bit of spring in my email, with the monthly mega from IvyScraps called "spring is in"
Since I couldn't sleep again last night, I played around with it for a while, and came up with this page.
Since spring seems so lazy this year, I used pictures from out trip to Pella's Tulip Time last year.
I think I'm going to take my computer apart and see if I can get it working again. I miss messing around on the "yellow box" I built a couple of years ago, but haven't had time/energy/brainpower to open her up, and see what's going on..... I think I will give it a try today. (Still looking for some stuff I can't find on the MAC, so I'm hoping it's on "The Box" LOL
If I can't sleep tonight, I'll probably play some more with the mega, so, as they say,
STAY TUNED!
The only advantage I can think of in having cold miserable weather is that you´ve got time to do a lot of stuff indoors, like creating layouts and maybe even cleaning the crumbs out of your keyboard if you´re really REALLY stuck for something to do, without wishing you were out in the garden. On the other hand, if it lasts too long you can get cabin fever from being stuck in the house and you may even go a little crazy and start doing mad and lunatic stuff like...hmmm taking your computer apart....
