Build A Book - 2014

As promised (and to my surprise) I finished the book. The book I kept starting on, and stopping almost immediately. I had no plan, just wanted to "get it done", but at the same time, I felt I needed a different attitude to get it done right, so I kept putting it off. The Build A Book challenge over at the studio, was obviously just what I needed. I got the 20 pages done, despite computer problems, housekeeping problems, and having to check on this and that, and not being able to sit down and work on a page, without working a couple hours on getting the computer to behave first. I'd swear I'm working on a PC instead of a MAC these days.......  But, you didn't come here to hear me complain, I'm sure. So, here is Boo's book...... It's not done, the pictures need a little more journaling, and those pages will be easily slipped in between, but the hardest part is over. Starting! LOL.

The challenge also taught me how to actually BUILD a book. Up to now, I went one page at a time, and it shows. No 2 pages have the same style, though or colors, not even the LifeBooks I started a couple of years ago. This time, I had more oversight as to what the last page looked like, and where I wanted to go with the whole thing....... It was a good experience, one that will be repeated until I have the books done that I want to get done, but I won't do them in 10 days, with Mike being home, and all the things that went wrong and/or had to be taken care of :-)

Even if I don't "win" the challenge, I think this one will be printed.

I used BooLand Designs kits, as well as Carena's. The silhouettes are letters of the Cat Silhouette Font.
